Answered Prayer

There are many times in this web site that I have included the words "Answered Prayer. "  But until now, I have never really said to whom I was praying or who was answering my prayers.

I pray to the God who created the world.  Who knew JoAnn, Ashley and myself, when we were in our mother's wombs and before.  The Creator of all things.  The same God who came to earth as a man, died, and rose victoriously over sin.  Only such a loving God could care about what goes on with a sinner such as me.  That is to whom I pray.

I've felt led to create this page.  This web page's main purpose was to allow people to see Ashley and keep them up to date on what is happening.  But more and more as I write updates, it becomes praise to God for the care He has given to Ashley.  For her very life even.

We live in a world tainted by sin.  Mankind chose a path in life to do what pleased his flesh.  God can not tolerate sin, but still He provided a way for fellowship with Him.

Jesus Christ came to earth as a man.  He led a perfect life and yet was crucified.  He took the sins of the world on Himself and took them into death.  Three days later, he rose from the death; our sins wiped clean.

But it doesn't stop there.  Your sins have been paid for, but you have to accept that gift.  By not accepting it, you automatically reject what Jesus has done.

Jesus said in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."  (KJV)

What does that mean? Jesus said He is THE way, truth, and life.  As in the ONLY one to the exclusion of all others.  There is no other way.  Just Jesus.

So now it comes down to you.  What will you believe? Either Jesus is the ONLY way or He is not the way at all.  There is no in between.  I agree with Joshua when he said:

"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15 (KJV)
