From April 21st - August 18th, Ashley lived at Sinai Samaritan Hospital's NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) in Milwaukee. She was born 15 weeks premature. She entered this world at 1lb 4oz and 11.25 inches long. The doctors and nurses there were excellent. Not only was their care of Ashley excellent, they didn't forget that JoAnn and I had a role there, too. But none the less, we were glad to get Ashley home. The people at the Sinai Birthing Center and NICU will always have a special place in our hearts. |

Ashley is Home! August 18th! |

Yes! Finally on August 18th, Ashley was ready to come home from the hospital. Mommy was admitted to the hospital April 11th and Ashley was born April 21st, so she has been there over 4 months. Mommy and Daddy are plenty happy to have her home, since they lived 1 hour away from the hospital. Now its dirty diapers and late night feedings instead of long drives to and from the hospital. |
